The five day course is for those starting sclerotherapy and wish to obtain an in-depth study of all details of the Sclerotherapy process. Sclerotherapy training is based on one of Crown Medical's Sclerotherapy Manuals The objective is to go through the complete sclerotherapy cycle and providing you with the comprehensive training you need to implement a successful new business.

Each course is based on one of Crown Medical's Sclerotherapy Manuals, focusing on the duties and responsibilities of the personnel in question.

How many hours does it take to complete the 5 day course? How are the 5 days distributed?

The Lecture portion of the course is approximately 40hrs.
Subsequent to course completion you will have a one-week access to Free Online Consultation with a live professor. During this week you have the opportunity to ask any questions or doubts you may have on the course content discussed. Extended consultation package are available.
The time distribution for the 40hr lecture portion is broken down based on the demand and course format selected; On-Location, Online Live or Online-On-Demand
Course Schedule: An updated schedule of the time format in which each course is available in is updated periodically. If on-site training is requested the time distribution is allocated in accordance to agreement.
Definition of a day
- 1 full day = 8 hours
- 1/2 a day= 4 hours
Example of Possible Course Schedule:
- 5 consecutive weekdays-8 hr per class
- 2 consecutive weekends + 1 day online-8hr per class

2nd Requirement: To be ordered and supervised by a state licensed MD or DO, etc.

The injection of telangectasis (“spider veins”) (sclerotherapy) is within the scope of practice for only the RN as an additional act under the following guidelines:
The supervising physician/APRN performs and documents an initial assessment prior to treatment and as needed during the course of therapy.
The RN has satisfactorily completed a documented special education and training program which includes supervised practice and clinical skill competency.
The facility has applicable written policies and procedures, and written standing orders for dealing with allergic reactions.
Continuing education for these procedures is ongoing and documented.
The injection of Botox and collagen is NOT within the scope of practice for a licensed nurse, unless recognized as an APRN.
